Fundación Forecos y la Red Ciudadana por los Humedales de Valdivia se adjudicaron el Fondo de Protección Ambiental por un monto de 5 millones de peso en la línea gestión local para el proyecto “Red de Humedales Urbanos de Valdivia: Patrimonio de Tod@s”, el cual tiene por objetivo poner en valor la red de humedales urbanos de Valdivia como espacio para la conservación de biodiversidad, recreación y educación ambiental desarrollando capacidades y liderazgo de comunidades locales.
El proyecto cuenta con el apoyo de Junta de Vecinos N°77 Villa Los Ediles, Junta de Vecinos Krahmer, Comité Ecológico Angachilla, Junta de Vecinos Nº 27-R Santo Domingo, Junta de Vecinos Nº24 Isla Teja, Agrupación de Protección de Humedales y otros Las Gaviotas, Patagua Ltda., Atlas IP Chile, Agrupación Biosfera, Fundación Cosmos y la Ilustre Municipalidad de Valdivia
En total fueron Doce organizaciones las ganadoras, de siete comunas de la región de Los Ríos, representando a 7 de las 12 comunas de la región, Panguipulli, Los Lagos, Paillaco, Valdivia, La Unión, Futrono y Lago Ranco con una transferencia de recursos que llega a los $59.000.000.
En ceremonia encabezada por el Intendente regional, César Asenjo y el seremi de la cartera ambiental, Daniel Del Campo; además de la presencia de los seremis de Energía, Felipe Porflit y Agricultura Moira Henzi, se entregaron cheques simbólicos como ceremonia de adjudicación de los proyectos.
