Adjudicación de fondos para realizar senderos en la Reserva Nasampulli

Durante el mes de julio, la Reserva Nasampulli se adjudicó fondos de CONAF para construir senderos, que permitirán el acceso y vigilancia a zonas donde actualmente es difícil llegar, además de poder realizar en el futuro actividades de recreación y de educación ambiental. Los fondos adjudicados suman aproximadamente $ 10 millones que servirán para realizar 6 senderos que en total suman unos 9 kilómetros. Además con estos fondos se construirán señaléticas, miradores y algunos pasos sobre nivel.
Algunos de los senderos que se construirán son El refugio del puma, El mirador del taique que terminará con un mirador hacia una caída de agua, Los pudúes, y El mirador de los volcanes que finaliza con una espléndida vista a los volcanes Llaima, Lanin, Villarrica y Quetrupillán.
Durante el mes de septiembre Marco Cortes, administrador de la Reserva Nasampulli, realizará una visita al lugar con encargados de CONAF para luego en el mes de diciembre iniciar la construcción.

Fondos de recuperación del bosque nativo
En el año 2008, en el marco de la Ley N° 20.283, sobre Recuperación del Bosque Nativo y Fomento Forestal, se crea este fondo concursable destinado a la conservación, recuperación o manejo sustentable del bosque nativo. Por medio de este fondo, los propietarios forestales, pueden recibir bonificaciones para contribuir a solventar los costos de actividades inherentes a los objetivos de la creación de ese fondo. Justamente una de las actividades bonificables es la construcción de senderos para vigilancia, recreación, turismo y/o educación ambiental.
La ley establece un sistema de entrega de bonificaciones a través de dos concursos: uno para pequeños propietarios y otro para los demás propietarios. CONAF convoca a los concursos públicos durante el primer trimestre de cada año.
