Alta convocatoria tuvo la primera reunión de la instancia público-privada, que vela por los ecosistemas húmedos de la Región de Los Ríos. En la oportunidad se dio cumplimiento a un intenso programa que contó con presentaciones de CONAF, FORECOS, seremi de Bienes Nacionales, seremi de Medio Ambiente, Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero entre otros.
Además, esta reunión estuvo marcada, entre otras cosas, por la participación de tres nuevos integrantes de la mesa Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales, Centro de Estudios Agrarios y Ambientales, Comunidad Humedal.
En aquella reunión, Jonathan Nauto Soto, miembro de la Comunidad Humedal manifestó su interés de sumarse al trabajo de la Mesa Regional: “Entendemos que hasta ahora se está entregando información del trabajo realizado durante el 2015 y coordinando lo que será el 2016, pero esperamos que de aquí en adelante podamos participar activamente, con uno o dos representantes de nuestra comunidad en la Mesa de Humedales”, afirmó.
En tanto la seremi del medio ambiente, Carla Peña, destacó los desafíos que se vienen en materia de humedales para este año, indicando que durante el año 2015 se avanzó a pasos agigantados en esta materia, lo que se comprueba con la aprobación de tres proyectos muy importantes y con mucho sentido para la ciudadanía, según comentó.
“El primer proyecto se trata de la readjudicación del proyecto catrico, luego tenemos la aprobación de presupuesto para un estudio de diagnóstico de humedales en toda la Región, y el tercero se trata de un programa de gobernanza del Santuario de la Naturaleza, que buscará coordinar esfuerzos público-privados para el cuidado del Santuario del Río Cruces y Chorocamayo”, finalizó.
Las presentaciones
El programa comprendía 8 presentaciones, que se diversificaban entre los avances sectoriales de los servicios públicos, las ONG´s y ciudadanía miembros de la Mesa. También se dio espacio para que los municipios de Panguipulli, Los Lagos y Valdivia muestren sus logros en materia de ordenanzas de humedales.
Una de las presentaciones que destacó fue la realizada por la profesional de asuntos hídricos de la seremi del medio ambiente, en la cual mostró Norma Secundaria de Calidad Ambiental de la cuenca del Ríos Valdivia, que fue publicada en el Diario Oficial a finales del 2015.
Finalmente, se dio espacio para que los miembros organicen la celebración de Día Mundial de Los Humedales, efeméride que se conmemora el 2 de febrero de cada año.
